We will start our adventure at isla Contoy, a virgin island in the edge of the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico, a Federal Reserve and Bird Sanctuary. Explore the coastal dunes, mangroves, and lagoons with your guide, and be amazed by the beauty of this "Pearl of the Caribbean Sea". The beautiful turquoise waters of this natural protected area and Marine National Park's beach are perfect for the ultimate relaxation, swimming, snorkeling and taking breath-taking pictures. Our crew will prepare a delicious and regional cuisine inspired lunch for you.

Next stop is Isla Mujeres, just 8 miles off the coast from Cancun. This laid-back Mexican Caribbean island is known for its picturesque small town, colorful streets, small shops featuring hand-made crafts and truly gorgeous beaches. During your leisure time on the island, you can visit and snorkel in the famous Playa Norte (North Beach), ranked among the top 25 beaches in the world, and melt away the stress before we head back to the boat and enjoy the way back to Cancun with our uniquely warm and attentive team.

  • What is Contoy?

    Isla Contoy is a small Mexican island, a bird sanctuary and protected reserve belonging to the municipality of Isla Mujeres, located in the state of Quintana Roo, approximately 30 km north of the island. The island is 8.75 km long, and 200 to 700 m, 500 m on average wide, with an area of 230 ha. of land surface.

  • How long does it take to get to the island?

    Approximately 50 minutes.

  • Who can go on the tour?

    The whole family in general. Not suitable for people with heart problems or serious medical conditions. Not recommended for travelers with back problems.

  • What can we do on the island?

    It is a protected national park, where you can go relax on the beautiful beaches, watch birds, walk the trails, visit the museum and enjoy the food that our team will prepare typical of our region.

  • Can I get to Contoy on my own?

    The island allows the entry of only 200 people a day, through agencies like ours, which must have permits and certificates for the care of flora and fauna of the protected area.
